The final stage of the group stages and the calculations is very simple: if FC Copenhagen wins, they qualify; if Galatasaray wins, they will qualify for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. A draw could be enough for FC Copenhagen, as long as Manchester United doesn't beat Bayern at Old Trafford. However, for Galatasaray, it's a must-win game in the Danish capital.
FC Copenhagen is the team that surprised me the most in the Champions League. If they had a bit more luck, they would already be qualified. In domestic competitions, they are not in the greatest shape, but on European nights and at their home ground, they are always a different team.
I also think Galatasaray should have earned more points, especially against Bayern Munich. It's fully deserved that they can decide their destiny tonight. Galatasaray plays with high pressure, and I think they will play in the same way tonight and try to take the lead early. Again, a draw could be enough for FC Copenhagen. FC Copenhagen players play with high discipline and don't allow many chances against them if they play with a low defensive block for 90 minutes.
In contrast to FC Copenhagen, Galatasaray played one of their best games of the season against Adana Demirspor. If you analyze all the new players' performances in that match, they finally looked like a complete team with all players integrated into the manager's playing style. Obviously, Galatasaray has more quality and experience in the team. If they come with the same momentum and morale, they should also win tonight.
But, as I said, FC Copenhagen is always a different team in the Champions League, and you can't compare their performances in the domestic league to the Champions League. If both sides play their best football tonight and reach their highest levels, Galatasaray should be the better side. I'm picking Galatasaray to win in Parken, with a return of the stakes if the game ends in a draw. Galatasaray AH +
