The top 10 goal scorers in Europe’s top five leagues
The season is on break due to the World Cup, but who has actually scored the most goals in Europe?

We’ve looked into the 10 players with the most goals in Europe’s Top 5 leagues (Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga and Ligue 1). 

10. Marcus Thuram:
The French striker has once again been the profile for Borussia Monchengladbach, where he is the team's top scorer with 10 goals.  He has scored the number of goals he should in relation to his expected goals of 10.93.

Thuram's performances have meant that he is part of France's World Cup squad and it will be exciting to see if he can score goals in the national team as well.

9. Ivan Toney:
Ivan Toney was with great disappointment not selected for the England World Cup squad. In the weekend's match, he scored two goals against Manchester City and aware that Southgate may have made a mistake.

Toney has taken everyone by storm and is being rumored to bigger Premier League clubs. He has scored 10 goals this season, which corresponds to his expected goals of 10.93

8. Niclas Fullkrug:
Niclas Fullkrug has scored an impressive 10 goals for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga this season. His physique has been a constant threat to opponents and his skills in the box are really good.

The German has scored more goals than his expected goals of 8.60

7. Terem Moffi:
The 23-year-old Nigerian has been one of the great experiences in the French Ligue 1 this season.
The Lorient striker has scored 10 goals this season, which is already more than last season's 8 goals.

He has scored more goals than his expected goals of 7.77 and if he continues to score goals he will become interesting for bigger clubs

6. Neymar:
The Brazilian profile has been one of the best players in Europe this season. He is in top form when Brazil start their World Cup shortly and he will undoubtedly be one of the players to keep an eye on.

He has scored an impressive 11 goals which is better than his expected goals of 8.59

5. Harry Kane:
Harry Kane is one of Europe's top scorers of all time and this season he has scored 12 goals which is better than his expected goals 10.76. 

He has been in good form for Tottenham this season and will be England's big profile during the World Cup. He must score if they are to have a chance of going far in the tournament.

4. Cristopher Nkunku:
The RB Leipzig profile had a crazy season last year with both goals and assists. Everyone therefore expected him to move to one of Europe's top clubs this summer, but he ended up staying in Germany.

This season has continued like last year, where he is the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 12 goals. He has scored more goals than his expected goals at 10.29

3. Kylian Mbappe:
PSG’s big profile Kylian Mbappe has scored 12 goals in the French Ligue 1 this season, which is better than his expected goals of 10.77.

Together with Neymar and Messi, they are perhaps Europe's best trio at the moment and even though there are rumors of dissatisfaction, you cannot avoid the fact that Mbappe is one of the world's best players.

Robert Lewandowski has scored goals for Bayern Munich for several years and many doubted whether he would score goals for FC Barcelona as well.

With 13 goals, he has put all critics to shame and once again proved that he is one of the best goal scorers of all time.

1. Erling Haaland:
Haaland has smashed all records for Manchester City in the Premier League this season. His move to Northern England has been a huge success and the only question is how many more records he will break.

He has scored 18 goals in the Premier League which is much better than his expected goals of 12.82.
