Mesut Ozil has officially retired from professional football at the age of 34
It is one of the greats who retires and can look at great results for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Germany.
Ozil played 254 times for Arsenal and won four FA Cups with the Gunners, while he also made 159 appearances for Real Madrid, winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
The 34-year-old also won 92 caps for Germany, scoring 23 goals and lifting the maybe biggest trophy in his career, the World Cup title in 2014. The time in Fenerbahce and Istanbul Basaksehir was not successful, and it has now led to a career stop.
