End Of Season Continental Cup Winner’s Treble

So, the finals of Europe's three premier club competitions have now been decided, and the end of May promises to provide some major spectacles. In the Champions League, Inter Milan will meet tournament favorites Paris Saint-Germain in Munich in a bid to be crowned champions. Elsewhere, Manchester United will contest an all-English affair against compatriots Spurs in Bilbao's Europa League final, while fellow Premier League outfit Chelsea look to hold off the challenge of Real Betis in the Conference League.

With three mouthwatering clashes looming large on the horizon, there has never been a more exciting time to place your bets and watch the continental action unfold. With that in mind, here is our cup winner's treble.

Paris Saint-Germain

Surely now is Paris Saint-Germain's time? At least that's what online sports betting outlets think, and we agree with them. A top online sports betting site currently has the reigning French champions priced as a narrow -150 favorite to win their upcoming Champions League final against Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri, meanwhile, are priced as the +125 underdog.

For years, the Parisians have been a laughing stock on the continental stage. A front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe couldn't get them past the round of 16, while their maiden final appearance back in 2020 ended in heartbreak at the hands of Bayern Munich. Fast forward five years, and their time feels like it has finally come.

Experienced manager Luis Enrique has been here before. Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona is considered one of the greatest teams ever assembled, but three years on from his departure from the Camp Nou, his successor Enqrique would lead the club back to the summit with a famous treble in 2015, culminating with winning this tournament in Berlin with a 3-1 victory against Juventus. Now, he has revitalized a PSG side that supposedly should have been reeling following last summer's departure of the aforementioned Mbappe.

Rather than crying about losing the best footballer in the world, Enrique rebuilt his side around mercurial Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé. He has maneuvered the former Barcelona man into a central striking role rather than playing him out wide like he has done for the majority of his career, and the results have spoken for themselves. 33 goals and 13 assists so far this term have propelled the 27-year-old to become the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or, but it's far from a one-man show over at the Parc Des Princes.

January signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and teenage sensation Désiré Doué join Dembélé in a lethal front three, while the midfield trio of João Neves, Vitinha, and Fabian Ruiz is capable of running rings around any team in the world on their day. Captain Marquinhos anchors a staunch defence, while goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is returning to the kind of form that saw him win the Player of the Tournament award at Euro 2020. Their task in downing Inter in Munich won't be an easy one, but we can see them getting the job done.

Manchester United

This year's Europa League final is shaping up to be quite a strange one as it features two English teams that have had miserable domestic campaigns. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur currently languish in 15th and 16th, respectively, in the Premier. League, and are sitting far closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top five.
Despite that, though, both have one final opportunity to save their season by winning
the Europa League final in Bilbao and securing a spot in the Champions League next
season that the trophy brings with it.

The bookies make this game a tight one too, with the Red Devils priced as the -132 betting favorite and Spurs narrowly behind at +111. And even though Ange Postecoglou proclaimed at the start of the season that he "always wins something in the second season, ''we can't see past Ruben Amorim's United.

Unlike their compatriots, Man Utd have bags of experience right throughout their team. The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Harry Maguire, and Matthijs de Ligt have all
been there and done it. Compare that to Spurs, and very few of their squad have played in major finals. For that reason alone, we can see the Old Trafford outfit grinding out a narrow win.

Chelsea

Chelsea have been the favorites to win the Conference League all year long, and rightfully so. The Blues are far more accustomed to playing in the Champions League, winning the tournament as recently as four years ago thanks to Kai Havertz's winner against Manchester City in Porto. Now, they find themselves in Europe's tertiary competition, and they remain a -265 favorite for glory.

We can't see past the English side in this one, although they will be facing their toughest test throughout their entire run in the form of Real Betis. The Spanish outfit is a club reborn following the January loan signing of Manchester United's much-maligned winger Antony. The Brazilian is a man transformed in Spain, scoring eight times - including a stunning free kick in the semifinal win against Fiorentina - and providing five assists in just 21 appearances since making the move.

While Betis will provide a stern test, we think Chelsea will get the job done in Wrocław. But they will certainly have to be careful, or they run the risk of becoming victims of a huge upset.
