Cale Makar is showcasing his skills for the Colorado Avalanche

In Colorado, there is joy in having one of the league's best defensemen in Cale Makar. Once again, this season, he has demonstrated that he belongs among the top players. In the game against the Dallas Stars earlier this month, he etched his name in the NHL history books by becoming the fastest defenseman to reach 200 assists in NHL history.

The elite defenseman needed 254 games to reach 200 assists, thus taking the record from Quinn Hughes, who took 263 games to achieve the same feat.
